Compliance with data protection regulations is a top priority for our company. We would therefore like to explain below how we handle your personal data as part of the application process:
Brumann Innenraumkonzepte GmbH, located at Lüdinghauser Str 3, 59387 Ascheberg, info@brumann-innenraumkonzepte.de, is responsible for data processing.
As part of the application process, we process your personal data that we need to make a decision regarding the establishment of an employment relationship.
In order for us to consider your application, the following information is required:
We process this information solely for the purpose of selecting candidates. We do not process this data for any other purposes.
In addition, you may decide for yourself whether you would like to provide us with additional information—such as your address, date of birth, certificates and proof of qualifications, hobbies, a personal photo, etc.—to help us better evaluate your application or to facilitate communication. Providing this information is voluntary and not required for the application process. We process your voluntary information based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. Please contact the office listed above for this purpose.
We process only the personal data that you provide to us as part of the application process.
Unless there is a statutory retention period, the data will be deleted as soon as storage is no longer necessary or the legitimate interest in storage has ceased to exist.
Unless a position is filled, this typically occurs no later than six months after the conclusion of the application process or after receipt of the rejection notice.
In addition, we will of course delete your data if you withdraw your consent to the processing of your data.
In individual cases, certain data may be stored for a longer period (e.g., travel expense reports). The duration of storage is then determined by statutory retention requirements, which may arise from the German Fiscal Code or the German Commercial Code, among others, and may range from 6 to 10 years. Further storage of your data is also permitted if, following a balancing of interests, further processing is necessary for us to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We will, of course, treat your information confidentially.
Within our company, only those departments responsible for preparing and conducting the application process and selecting candidates will have access to your information. These are typically employees in the Human Resources department and members of management.
As a data subject, you have the right to access the personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR) as well as the right to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR) or to have it erased, provided that one of the grounds listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g., if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You also have the right to restrict processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, and, in the cases specified in Art. 20 GDPR, the right to data portability. If the processing of data is based on your consent, you are entitled under Art. 7 GDPR to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Please note that the withdrawal only takes effect for the future. Processing that took place prior to the withdrawal is not affected by this. Please also note that we may be required to retain certain data for a specific period of time to comply with legal requirements, even after your withdrawal (see “Data Erasure” for further details).
In cases where we process your personal data on the legal basis of Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR, you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrable compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Furthermore, as a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection regulations. The right to lodge a complaint may be exercised, in particular, with a supervisory authority in the Member State of the data subject’s residence or workplace, or in the Member State where the alleged infringement occurred.
