We are pleased to welcome you to our website. Below, we would like to inform you about how we handle your data in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

2. Data Controller

The entity responsible for the data processing described below is the one listed in the Legal Notice .

3. Usage Data

When you visit our website, our web server temporarily logs so-called usage data for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our website. This data set consists of

  • the name and address of the requested content,
  • the date and time of the query,
  • the amount of data transferred,
  • the access status (content transferred, content not found),
  • a description of the web browser and operating system used,
  • the referral link, which indicates which page you came from,
  • the IP address of the requesting computer, which is truncated so that it can no longer be linked to a specific individual

The log data mentioned above is analyzed only in anonymized form.

4. Consent banner

We use a consent management platform (consent or cookie banner) on our websites. The processing related to the use of the consent management platform and the logging of the settings you have made is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, in our legitimate interest to display our content according to your preferences and to be able to verify the consent(s) you have given.  Your settings, the consents you have granted, and parts of your usage data are stored in a cookie. This ensures that the cookie remains available for subsequent page requests and that your consents can continue to be tracked. For more information, please refer to the section titled “Essential Cookies.”

5. Essential cookies

We use cookies on our websites that are necessary for their use.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and can be read. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session.

We do not use these necessary cookies for analysis, tracking, or advertising purposes.

In some cases, these cookies contain only information regarding specific settings and are not personally identifiable. They may also be necessary to enable user navigation, security, and the proper functioning of the website.

We use these cookies based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are placed.  In addition, you can delete them at any time via the corresponding browser settings and prevent new cookies from being set. Please note that our websites may then not be displayed in full and some functions may no longer be technically available.

6. Hosting

We host our website with All-Inkl. The provider is ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owned by René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf (hereinafter: All-Inkl). For details, please refer to All-Inkl’s privacy policy: https://all-inkl.com/datenschutzinformationen/.

The use of All-Inkl is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring the most reliable presentation of our website possible. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Data Processing

We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with the provider listed above. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures that the provider will process the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

7. Getting in touch

You can send us an email via the “Contact” page on our website. The information you provide (your email address, phone number if applicable, and your name) will be stored solely for the purpose of processing and documenting your inquiry. This information will only be shared if necessary to process your inquiry. This information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. If your contact is aimed at entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR serves as an additional legal basis for the processing.

8. Matomo

We use the web analytics tool “Matomo” to tailor our websites to user needs. Matomo creates usage profiles based on fingerprints (including the hash value of the operating system, browser, browser plugins, anonymized IP address, and browser language). No cookies are set. This allows us to recognize returning visitors and count them as such.

Data processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or § 15(3)(1) TMG, provided you have given your consent via our banner.

9. Adobe Fonts

This website uses web fonts from Adobe Fonts to ensure consistent font display. The provider is Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4–6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Ireland.

When you visit a page, your browser loads the required fonts directly from Adobe servers. This establishes a connection to Adobe’s servers, which may result in your IP address being transmitted to Adobe.

The use of Adobe Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and appealing presentation of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

If the processing of data is based on your consent, you have the right under Article 7(3) ofthe GDPR to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time.
